Our team has many talents and can manage digital health projects from conception to implementation.

Passionate about digital health innovations, our doctors, pharmacists, developers, algorithms wizards, UX specialists, psychologists, engineers and statisticians are driven by a common desire: to participate in the digital revolution of medicine by providing new services to patients and doctors.

At Ad Scientiam, we are developing medical self-assessment solutions on smartphone, tailored to each disease, thanks to our wide range of expertise:

  • Development of user-centric applications, with patients involved at each step of the development cycle

  • Creation of new assessment scales on smartphone, starting from medical gold standards

  • Creation and animation of KOL network in each therapeutic area to contribute to research activities

  • Collection and analysis of real-world medical data

  • Quality and regulatory expertise

Being at the center of a dynamic medical and research ecosystem, Ad Scientiam has the right team to apply its innovative approach to all major chronic diseases (MS, Alzheimer’s, depression, Parkinson’s, ADHD…)

Team Members

Liouma Tokitsu

CEO & Founder

Engineer in Information Systems and Software Engineering from EPITA, Liouma also acquired an experience in sales at Cap Gemini. He created and managed several service companies during his career including Pharmaceutical Management Services. Founder of Ad Scientiam in 2013, Liouma Tokitsu is a member of Startup Leadership Program.

 

 

Dr Jean-Pierre Lehner

Chairman of the Scientific Board

Jean-Pierre started his career as a cardiologist at the Bichat Hospital before joining Roussel Laboratories in 1981 as Medical Director. He was successively Senior Director of Clinical Investigations of Sanofi Recherche, Scientific Senior Director of Sanofi Winthrop, Vice President Medical Affairs Europe of Sanofi-Aventis, Senior Vice-President, Medical & Regulatory Affairs of Sanofi-Aventis and Chief Medical Officer of Sanofi before he retired in 2013.

 

 

Dr Daniel Gérard

Member of the Scientific Board

Daniel is a Psychiatrist and was previously the Head of Chronic Diseases Access to Medicine at Sanofi

 

 

 

 

Dr Philippe Brun

Member of the Scientific Board

 

Philippe is a Pediatrician and Nephrologist, post graduated in Biochemistry and Immunology in Paris VII University and Institut Pasteur. After almost 15 years as an Assistant Professor in Robert Debré Hospital, Paris VII University and in the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research, he joined the pharmaceutical company, Sanofi in 1996 as Medical and Scientific Director. He had different positions in the Research and Development, Access to Medicine and International Pharmaceutical Operation departments before he retired in 2017.

 

 

Dr Saad Zinaï

Chief Medical Officer

Saad has a MD and is a graduate of the ESCP Europe Business School.

After a clinical experience in radiology (Charles-Foix, Pierre et Marie Curie University), he spent 25 years in 2 major pharma groups (Sanofi-Aventis and Recordati) where he held marketing, medical and commercial positions.

Appointed France medical-marketing director at Recordati in 2000, he set up the addiction business unit and launched several successful products (Hypertension, Migraine, Allergy, Urology, OTC and generics.)

He plays keyboards in a funk/jazz band and collects vintage watches. He joined Ad Scientiam in 2016

 

 

Mourad Lafer

Technical Architect / Chief Technical Officer

Mourad is an IT Technical Architect background with focus on custom developed software. Over 20 years’ experience in various domains of applications design and development such as: Application and Enterprise Architecture, Technical specification, Application and Systems Development, Application performance management, Tests and validation, Customer training.

 

 

 

Matthieu Brancher

Commercial advisor

Matthieu co-founded and managed the growth of technology & consulting ventures in the Business Intelligence Systems and Big Data Management since the 2000s. With a background in general management and sales activities, he built successful operations with several strategic acquisitions in BtoB IT services and consulting firms.

 

 

Térence Brochu

CXO (Chief eXperience Officer)

Térence has a background in cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, ergonomics and UX design. Co-founder of Ad Scientiam, he ensures a user centered approach by integrating patient and clinician insights through the design process of Ad Scientiam solutions.

 

 

Jessica Zheng

Ux Designer

Jessica supports the design and realization of solutions. Graphist by passion and designer by training. She is specialized in the realization of web, mobile and connected object interfaces. She is very sensitive to the new technologies and the new uses that follow. She studied at WebSchoolFactory, a digital management school in design specialization and has been working since October 2016 at AdScientiam.

 

 

Mathieu Cattenoz, PhD

Signal processing and algorithms

Mathieu has an engineer background (Supélec, Technische Universität München) and has a doctorate in signal processing (Paris-Saclay University). He has worked for several years in R&D on the development of new concepts for satellite receivers and military radars in the aerospace industry (Airbus DS, ONERA, MBDA) then on the technical development of several startups.

 

 

François de Berry

Mobile Technical Leader

Expert in computer sciences, graduated at EPITECH, François quickly specialized in mobile technologies. Since 2013, he is in charge of the development and evolution of innovative mobile solutions developed by Ad Scientiam.

 

 

 

Séverine Bieuvelet, Ph.D

Head of Clinical Research

Séverine has a PhD in Physiology and Physiopathology from the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France). After a fundamental research dissertation, she joined Pileje laboratory in 2003 to manage pre-clinical and clinical studies on leading products (probiotics and dietary supplements). In 2015, she joined RaDiCo-Inserm to manage rare disease cohorts in various therapeutic areas. A seasoned professional in interventional and non-interventional clinical trials management, Séverine joined Ad Scientiam at the end of 2016.

 

 

Anne-Laure Argoud

Clinical Study coordinator

Anne-Laure has worked 3 years as a project manager in the French Research Agency on AIDS and viral hepatitis (ANRS).

Her missions were setting up and managing clinical trials evaluating new therapeutic strategies and physiopathological studies investigating HIV comorbidities.

Anne-Laure joined Ad Scientiam at the end of 2016 to coordinate our clinical studies.

 

 

Dr Yann Le Coz

Expert Patient in Multiple Sclerosis, patients association representative (voluntary)

Yann Le Coz has a M.D. and is a former intern of Paris Hospitals. After several experiences in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical and marketing activities (Servier, Rhône Poulenc, Wyeth, Sangstat), he is struck by Multiple Sclerosis. He then gets involved in the MS associative world to help patients. He bring his patient-expert experience to the development of our MS solution, as a volunteer.

 

 

 

Vincent Galand

Business Development

Vincent has a passion for innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation through new technologies. He has a 5 year experience in biomedical research, international partnership development, management of innovative projects and strategic consulting

Vincent is an engineer, with a diploma from the biotechnology School of Grenoble as well as a Master of Science in molecular medicine from the Cranfield University. He has worked in the oncology department of the University of California in San Diego, then in Harvard where he conducted works on regenerative medicine within the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. Holder of an MBA from the Engineer College of Paris, Vincent is an administrator of the ISEFRE Institute at the ESCP Europe Business School, which supports each year around twenty researchers with entrepreneurship projects

 

 

Matthieu Lamy

U.S. Operations

Matthieu graduated from France leading Business School (HEC Paris), with a Master in Management and a specialization in Corporate Finance.

Based in Seattle since end 2016, he is working on the set-up of Ad Scientiam activities in the U.S. Matthieu has 10-year experience in Strategic and Transformation Consulting, in an international environment (France, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, UK, USA) on the set-up of new business activities, the launch of new service offers and the implementation of complex transformation programs
